PADI Wreck Specialty

Wrecks – whether sunk deliberately or by historical mishap – are a fascinating window into the past and into biodiversity. Coral love anchorage, so wrecks breed entire ecosystems in their own right. The PADI Wreck specialty is an opportunity for divers to look into the past while following responsible wreck diving practices.

What you will learn:

  • Safety considerations in navigating and exploring wrecks
  • Surveying and mapping wrecks
  • Using penetration lines and reels to guide wreck exploration
  • Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants

Underwater Photography (Beginner Module)

A 2-day course that takes you through a camera’s anatomy: aperture, shutter, depth of field, ISO, RAW vs JPEG, principles of refraction, light changes underwater, and lensing.

Underwater Photography (Advanced Module)

This 2-day course is designed for those who would like to take professional underwater images, and those who would like to improve the quality of their underwater images using digital SLR’s.

PADI Deep Specialty

The pull of the deep – it’s hard to resist. Learn how to safely dive to depths up to 40 meters with PADI’s Deep Specialty. It opens up a whole new world of deep wrecks and wildlife!

You need to be an Adventure Diver or higher and at least 15 years old to enroll in this course

What you will learn:

  • Reasons for deep diving and the importance of personal limits
  • About specialized deep diving equipment
  • Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control
  • Managing gas supply, dealing with narcosis and safety considerations

PADI Night Specialty

PADI Drift Specialty

This specialty teaches you to use ocean currents as your subway ride. Often, the best dives are drift dives, because currents bring food, and food attracts large fish. When done right, drift diving feels like flying.

  • An introduction to drift diving equipment: floats, lines, reels
  • An overview of aquatic currents – causes and effects
  • Buoyancy control, navigation and communication during two drift dives
  • Techniques for staying with a buddy and/or a group as you fly with the current

What you will learn:
