| Kadmat Island : The Jetty at the edge of the Universe… |
| A true island get-away destination, Kadmat is one of the larger Lakshadweep islands and home to about 6000 inhabitants. About 10 kilometers long and under 500 meters at its widest, Kadmat is home to the first Lacadives Dive Centre and School. The resort is managed by SPORTS and has 10 air-conditioned en suite cottages. A tranquil corner, the resort offers peace and solitude at the isolated South tip of the island. The rooms open to views of the encircling lagoons and waking up to a magical sunrise is part of the charm at Kadmat. Evenings at the world famous “Jetty at the edge of the Universe” or on the “Starlight Suite” as Prahlad fondly calls it offer you a peep into a world that’s not quite ours as we remember it. Kadmat is where some of our best diving still happens as routinely as the rise and fall of tides… The wall, North caves, Shark Alley, Turtle city; we can proudly claim some of these sites as one of the best dives you can take. Ideal for beginners and advanced divers, Kadmat offers you a back to basic, rustic and memorable dive experience. |
